Update on the Volcano Ash Cloud

Here is a map of the airports that are opened and closed in Europe. Some airlines have flown test flights through the ashes and some feel like it is possible to resume some flights. The problem is whether or not airports and attendant national authorities will let them take off. The situation is pretty well constrained by the ability for the weather conditions to disperse the ash cloud and it looks like the anticyclone over much Europe is hindering that process. The British seem to have some type of contingency plans. The EU seem to be saying that 50% flights could resume on Monday.
